My name is Denise Webb and I am the sponsor of the Pleasure Ridge Park High School Graphic Arts Club. The Graphic Arts Club nurtures creativity and provides opportunities for students to utilize technology and traditional methods to communicate visual ideas or messages. Involvement in these activities recognizes higher order learning in the area of visual communications and graphic arts, and will allow students to develop knowledge and skills necessary for employment in graphic arts professions.
Students will learn to develop their creative ideas, utilize experimental techniques using technology, and will create designs for promotional materials such as letterheads, ads, posters, folders, logos, brochures, booklets, print art, lettering and typography, photography and electronic media. Students may also work on actual assignments, like logos, flyers, etc. for community and school groups
Meetings will be held on every Tuesday from 2:30–4 PM, beginning October 13.
Students who cannot leave as soon as the meetings are over may not participate in this program. Be sure

I understand that participating in the GRAPHIC ARTS CLUB is a privilege and inappropriate behavior, excessive absence and poor academic or conduct performance will not be tolerated. Any artist not abiding by the rules will be exited from the charter.
